Zynga, creators of the insanely popular and sometimes controversial Facebook app FarmVille, have today released a new game entitled FrontierVille. In FrontierVille, players assume the role of a pioneer who is tasked with taming the wilderness and eventually building a "thriving frontier town." The brief description below appears when loading the application for the first time:
"Howdy Pardner! Come join us on the frontier, where you’ll carve out a home in the wilderness and raise a family. There may be bears and snakes, but there’s gold too, and your fellow pioneers are there to help!"
FrontierVille can be installed for free here. But be warned, Zynga has a history of creating wildly addictive games. Play and spam your friends’ Facebook accounts at your own risk.
