Man, it’s been hard trying to keep track of all the upcoming video game-based movies. This new one has been rumored for a long time and hasn’t been confirmed yet but these new details are quite juicy.
So which game is it? None other than Blizzard Entertainment’s Diablo. If you head on over to Legendary Pictures’ website, under their "Under Development" section, you’ll see an entry called "Diablo."
The associated link doesn’t go anywhere but it appears the website will go through an overhaul soon, so there may be more news in the future.
To add more credibility to the rumor, Legendary Pictures is handling another "legendary" video game-based movie from Blizzard and that’s the announced Warcraft. Having the same company handling two film projects by the same developer is a risky business but heck, considering that these two games are classics, I’m sure Blizzard won’t be happy if the films tank.
Let’s hope that more information comes from this year’s BlizzCon in August. In the meantime, what are your picks for the Diablo cast?
