SEGA announced this past week that the upcoming Xbox 360 port of Virtua Fighter 5 will contain multiplayer. Multiplayer was not featured in the PlayStation 3 version when it was released back in February so this is a great addition for 360 fans.
The multiplayer will consist of an online two-player versus mode via Xbox Live. Players will be able to select one of the 17 characters, take them through Quest mode, customize them with costumes and items and then it’s battling time. Victories will earn players prizes and in-game money to purchase game items.
The Xbox 360 port will also boast more features than its PlayStation 3 counterpart, including an improved Quest mode (more CPU rivals and items) and an improved DOJO mode (leader boards and more training modes).
