Coca-Cola of Great Britain will be heading up a gigantic promotional campaign alongside Nintendo UK to give away 10 "Ultimate" Wii game rooms which will consist of a Wii game console, the Wii Sports game, a 26" LCD TV and a mini fridge packed with Coca-Cola brand drinks such as Dr. Pepper, Fanta, and Sprite. (What? No Coca Cola?)
The specially labeled contest cans of soft drink will appear on UK store shelves starting May 20. The promotion will also offer DS prizes as well. Those lucky blokes across the sea can enter the giveaway by submitting codes found on the drink containers to the official contest website.
Ben Taylor, Trade and Promotions Marketing Manager of Nintendo UK said, "Wii is already the must have gadget of the year for people of all ages, this activity will re-enforce our message not just with hardcore gamers but importantly will also reach everyone in the household including the mums and dads we also want to attract to our products."
Hopefully, Coca-Cola and Nintendo won’t forget about the Yanks and Canadians for a contest like this either.
