NCSoft/Cryptic Studios today announced a veteran’s program for their ongoing dual MMORPGs City of Heroes and City of Villains. The veteran’s program will launch with their Issue #8: To Protect and Serve update, expected for release by year’s end.
For every three months with an active account, players will be able to unlock in-game items and bonuses, which include costumes, powers, and badges. These rewards will be determined for the first three years of play and will continue indefinitely. The rewards will be retroactive through the beginning of 2006, meaning players who signed on to the MMORPG francise early will reap instant rewards for their previous play time.
