Just how bad can it get with these Wii shortages? Plenty. According to gonintendo.com your friendly brown-clad UPS delivery person is now the target of Wii-stalkers.
These unsavory individuals (not the drivers, the stalkers) learn the shipping dates from their local GameStop stores, note and memorize the UPS delivery routines and intercept the drivers on the day of delivery in the hopes that they’ll be the first in line to score a Wii.
As a result, delivery dates for Wiis are being withheld from some GameStop stores in order to thwart these Wii-maniacs.
Come to think about it, I know my neighborhood delivery guy pretty well, so…
