Despite stiff competition, EA Games’ Dead Space 2 has entered the UK chart at number one knocking Sony’s LittleBigPlanet 2 into second place.
Both FIFA 11 and Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood enjoyed a good week, rising one spot each to come in third and fourth respectively.
Call of Duty: Black Ops suffered a disastrous week, dropping three places to come in at number five. It’s the first time since its launch that the game has failed to break into the top three.
It seems that the UK is in the mood for dancing as both Just Dance and Just Dance 2 managed to break into the top 10. Just Dance clawed its way in at number 10 while its sequel Just Dance 2 came in at comfortable number six.
The ongoing clash of the racing titans came to an abrupt end this week with Gran Turismo 5 failing to make the list. EA Games’ Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit fared slightly better, rising three places to come in at number seven.
