Ubisoft, developer of Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Vegas, recently announced that they’ve signed Korn, the multi-platinum hard rock band, to record an original song for their upcoming game Haze.
Christian Salomon, vice president of worldwide licensing at Ubisoft, states that "the song will be released and promoted as a full-fledged single, and not just as a download with the videogame."
With that said, the song aptly titled "Haze" will be released over the radio, video and for purchase in November.
Jonathan Davis, the lead singer of Korn, has always expressed a passion for video games. When asked about this project he responded "Gaming for me is a religion and Haze is the sh#t! I had to come up with a track that can hit up that kind of rush I get from the game and I think we really rocked it!"
