When Lara Croft returns to gaming in Crystal Dynamic’s series reboot Tomb Raider, it will do so with a multiplayer mode, according to a confirmation via Twitter from Official Xbox Magazine.
“Our next issue has a HUGE reveal: @tombraider multiplayer!” declared the tweet, announcing that the details will be featured in the magazine’s upcoming February 2013 issues, which will hit newsstands on January 8.
The confirmation follows a report from All Games Beta yesterday about UK retailer GAME listing then pulling information on multiplayer for Tomb Raider on its website. The page cited details on what seems to be a series of team-based game modes.
“Survive as a Team: Play a variety of multiplayer modes as Lara’s Shipmates or Yamatai’s Scavengers,” the text reportedly claimed.
