Will Xbox 360 fans get to trot through exotic locations with famed heroine Lara Croft? Despite a no-show retail release this past week for the Xbox 360, the ESRB’s official website displays some rather intriguing information.
A quick search of Tomb Raider: Anniversary shows five separate entries for the Xbox 360 — Peru, Lost City, Greece, Egypt and Croft Manor.
These areas are the five major game locations in TR and this leads to speculation that Tomb Raider: Anniversary may be heading to the Xbox 360 after all, but possibly in the form of individualdownloadable episodes on Xbox Live Arcade.
There’s no release date on the ESRB’s website or whether these episodes will be released simultaneously or consecutively.
So let’s label this a rumor for the Xbox 360 folks. In the meanwhile Tomb Raider: Anniversary is available for the PS2 and PC, with Wii and PSP releases planned sometime in the future.
