Crammed within the same press release that announced Assassin’s Creed sold 2.5 million copies worldwide is the announcement of three game delays. Everyone hates game delays, especially to games they particularly enjoy, but delays are usually for the better.
The three games, Tom Clancy’s EndWar, Brothers in Arms: Hell’s Highway and Far Cry 2, have been pushed back till Ubisoft’s 2008-2009 fiscal year, which begins on April 1, 2008. This will mark the second delay to Hell’s Highway; the first delay was back in September when the game was delayed from holiday 2007 to early 2008.
The three games will fit snuggly in Ubisoft’s 2008-2009 fiscal year, since another Ubisoft game, Splinter Cell: Conviction, was recently delayed to the same time frame too.
