The NHL season is just over a month away and preceding it this week is EA Sports’ latest iteration of its professional hockey series with NHL 12 for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. The game features legends such as Wayne Gretzky, deeper Be a Pro and Be a GM modes, and the inclusion of the Winter Classic for the first time.
But not everything big this week comes on ice. Everyone’s favorite angry and vengeful Spartan Kratos is also bringing something to the table with God of War: Origins Collection, which packages God of War: Chains of Olympus and God of War: Ghosts of Sparta together and remakes them in full HD, on the PS3.
Other releases include Supremacy MMA for the Xbox 360 and White Knight Chronicles II for the RPG fan on the PS3.
