The time has come. The moment has finally arrived. This week, gamers will finally learn if the Call of Duty franchise can survive without Infinity Ward and in the hands of Treyarch. The latter developer’s next installment in the series, Call of Duty: Black Ops, arrives on Tuesday for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PC, Nintendo Wii, and Nintendo DS.
All other developers and publishers were quite wise to steer clear of a Call of Duty release week, as is shown in the number of games coming to stores. The only other interesting releases making landfall will be The Fight: Lights Out and The Sly Collection, both for the PS3.
