Games that shipped for PCs this past week were Top Spin 2, MAKING HISTORY: The Calm & The Storm, and Runaway 2: The Dream of the Turtle (read our preview here).
Aspyr Media announced its tennis game Top Spin 2 is now shipping to stores. The game features 24 tennis players, a variety of events including all four Grand Slam tournaments, multi-season careers, and risky shot modes. Players can also create their own tennis stars and customize them with various tennis-inspired moves. Lastly, a few multiplayer modes (up to 4 players on a PC or 2 players online) can satisfy your multiplayer needs, including Splash Court and Time Bomb. The game is rated E for Everyone and the suggested retail price is $19.99.
Strategy First’s World War II strategy game, MAKING HISTORY: The Calm & The Storm, is now shipping to stores and is also available online through Steam. With a whole slew of strategy involved, including economics, warfare, diplomacy, international relations, industry and military tactics, players can also choose either the Axis or Allied to shape history. The game is rated E for Everyone and the suggested retail price is $39.95.
CDV and Focus Entertainment has released its adventure game sequel, Runaway 2: The Dream of the Turtle. Players are back in the shoes of Brian Basco as he searches for his lost girlfriend. Locations featured in the game vary from Alaska and Hawaii to high in the sky and under the sea. Along with being available in stores, you can download the game here, or on Steam. The game is rated T for Teen and the suggested retail price is $49.99.
