The past few weeks experienced a minor gaming lull but we’re back in full force, so bring on the games! I’d like to briefly spend time to point out the hands-on preview Eddie wrote for Penumbra Black Plague, an upcoming action/adventure PC game being released this week.
It’s the second and last game in the series and is a prime example of excellent work from a small game developer. The company made the entire engine themselves so you got plenty of physics and environment interaction. So in order to open a drawer, you have to physically drag the mouse outward.
Other notable games this week include third-person action/co-op game Conflict: Denied Ops for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC, Japanese RPG Lost Odyssey for Xbox 360, racing game Wipeout Pulse for PSP, the video game of the same name based on the upcoming film Jumper for Wii, PS2 and Xbox 360 and the Xbox 360 port of Dark Messiah of Might and Magic: Elements.
