Man, the weeks leading up to fall are always enjoyable; leaves changing colors, cooler weather and, of course, exciting games.
There are some heavy hitters coming out this week including two competing hockey games, a little PS3 game starring a butt-kicking heroine, some skating game for the 360 and a few PS3 ports.
First on the notable list are the two feuding hockey games, NHL 08 from EA and NHL 2K8 from Take-Two Interactive. Which one will reign supreme? Next is an infamous game called Heavenly Sword for the PS3. Billed as God of War but with a female, hopefully the game’s freeform combat system is really freeform. Lastly, a skating game that may bump Tony Hawk from 1st place is skate. from EA. The Xbox 360 version of the game is this week, PS3 owners have to wait till next week.
