Hands down, the game (well, package) I’m highly expecting this week is, of course, The Orange Box from Valve Software. If you’ve already pre-ordered the package on Steam, that means you’ve already pre-loaded everything onto your PC and are now just waiting till midnight (or 3AM EST like me) on October 10th to get your mitts on the game. Patience is not paying off here unfortunately.
But note that we’re knee deep in a wonderful gaming season (is it safe to say that we’re in one of the best gaming seasons for awhile?) so there are other notable games coming out this week, including an expansion pack for NWN2 called Neverwinter Nights 2: Mask of the Betrayer for PC, Sega Rally Revo for a variety of consoles and PC, Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions for PSP, PS3 exclusive RPG Folklore and the debut of FIFA Soccer 08 from EA Sports.
