I’ve got to hand it to Microsoft and Bungie, they really know how to hit us when we’re at our most vulnerable state as we all wait for Halo 3 to arrive. Case in point, this is what I found in my email this afternoon:
The existance of special items such as the Halo 3 edition of the 360, cool Halo 3 controllers and Halo 3 wireless headset have been known for the past several months. No biggie – that is, until now.
Suddenly, these items seem to have a magical quality about them. Sure, we’ve already pre-ordered our copies of the Limited and/or Legendary editions of Halo 3, but now, we have the chance to celebrate Halo 3 with real Halo 3 gear!
It’s certainly a master stoke of timing as we stare with glassy eyes at these juicy products. But I’m already out $70 for the Limited edition, so I won’t spend anymore.
But still, those controllers look sooooo nice…
