Arguably the best mod of Grand Theft Auto 4 ever created, this "movie trailer" shows what Liberty City would be like were it inhabited by the Mario Bros. and gang.
It’s a decidedly darker take on the same princess snatching tale that Mario and Luigi have been struggling through since the eighties. And there’s enough explosions to put Van Damme out of business.
The almost five-minute trailer was made using a modded version of GTA4 by a crew called Country Club Pictures and a full cast. If you’ve ever wanted to see Toad wear a beanie, Bullet Bill headbutt some chump, Luigi get dual headshots on the Hammer Bros., or Mario shoot down a chopper with an RPG then this is the video you need to see.
Even the FPS mod of GTA4 pales in comparison to this cinematic triumph. It’s truly a must see for Mario fans (of a certain age) everywhere. Just don’t tell Miyamoto!
