The most underrated game you’ve ever played
For this one, I’m going to say Too Human because of its abysmal 65% Metascore. There are likely great older games out there that not many people have played and are therefore not really "rated" at all (like The 7th Saga on SNES, for example), but Too Human definitely received unreasonably harsh criticism and was too easily dismissed by waaay too many critics. Not only was it not a terrible game, but it was pretty damn good.
I’ve always suspected that people just hate Denis Dyack, the game’s lead designer, and carry that disdain over into their opinions about the game itself. Or maybe hating this game was just the "cool" thing to do at the time. Sad. I would love to see the trilogy completed, because like most of the game, its story is quite interesting and enjoyable.
