Summer of Arcade continues today and every Wednesday in August

Summer of Arcade

Xbox LIVE’s Summer of Arcade is back for 2013, and is already in full swing with live events hosted by Lisa Foiles streaming on YouTube every Wednesday, with each show introducing a new XBLA game.

Today’s event follows last week’s preview of Brothers: a Tale of two Sons, and highlights the second release of the Summer of Arcade, Charlie Murder, available now for 800 MS Points. The shows air at 3pm Pacific Time on the Polaris Channel each Wednesday, and will also feature popular YouTube gamers JesseCox, TotalBiscuit, Raychul Moore and GameGrumps.

A full list of the titles on offer during the Summer of Arcade is provided below, and Microsoft has asked us to share that readers who buy any two of the four titles will receive a free Souls Pack for Ascend: Hand of Kul.

August 7th – Brothers: a Tale of two Sons – 1,200 MS Points: Guide two brothers on an epic journey. Control both at once with each thumb stick in co-op play like never before. Explore puzzles, varied locations and fight boss battles.

August 14th – Charlie Murder – 800 MS Points: Fallen punk rock idols Charlie Murder must face off against rival death metal band Gore Quaffer and their army of the damned in an RPG brawler hybrid inspired by coin-op beat ‘em ups and dungeon crawlers.

August 21st – Flashback – 800 MS Points: Conrad B. Hart of the G.B.I. is re-enlisted for the return of an acclaimed gaming franchise. Uncover an alien conspiracy, getting through complex & deadly environments.

August 28th – Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows – 1,200 MS Points: A return to how it all began. Become the four turtles fighting to save New York City from mutants, the Foot & Shredder.
