Starcraft: Ghost didn’t make it onto Blizzard’s list of canceled games at this year’s D.I.C.E. Summit, so when MTV had the chance to sit down with Blizzard co-founder Frank Pearce, it was an obvious topic for discussion. When asked why it wasn’t on the list, Pearce responded with:
"It never was technically canceled. It’s just a focus thing for us right now. We’ve got a finite amount of development resources and a lot of different things that we want to focus on so there’s always the possibility, but right now we’re spending our time on World of Warcraft and our expansion, Wrath of the Lich King, and StarCraft II."
Spending time on World of Warcraft, huh? Well I guess that means we won’t be seeing much out of Ghost until the year 2020, then. Somehow, though, I feel like Starcraft fans couldn’t care less about Ghost as long as they are getting Starcraft II. What do you think?
