When news broke loose about Square-Enix releasing a new mobile Final Fantasy game, fans of the series dusted off their cell phones in anticipation. The new title, dubbed Dirge of Cerberus: Lost Episode, will put mobile gamers in the feet of Vincent Valentine as he rages battle against the Deepground Soldiers.

Dirge of Cerberus: Lost Episode will occur three years after Meteorfall (when Final Fantasy VII finished) and will feature elements of action and role-playing. In addition, a multiplayer mode will be incorporated into the game at a later date, giving gamers a chance to battle head-to-head with the use of mobile networks.
