Not too long ago, Playstation 3 owners were able to break free from the shackles of reality and make an escape to the world of Tamriel. There, they could invest many hours of their free time slaying a variety of beasts, insects, vampires, and if they really wanted to, innocent villagers.
For those of you who missed out on the experience the first time, don’t worry, Bethesda’s got your back. The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Game of the Year Edition will be available to PS3 owners this September, with a solid date that has yet to be determined.
What about for those of you who just bought the game a few months ago for your six hundred dollar machine and was expecting further expansions to be downloadable over the Playstation Network? Sorry, ladies and gentlemen, you’ll just have to fork over another sixty or seventy bucks, that’s all.
In this pricey package, (the expansion that influenced Xbox 360 players of the game to start playing again), The Shivering Isles, will also be included. It features brand new quests that’ll have you interacting with some of the strangest looking characters ever witnessed in any role playing game. In additon to that, the Knights of the Nine expansion that was already included with the previously released PS3 version will be available for your playing pleasure as well.
