Sony reveals launch lineup for PlayStation Vita

PlayStation Vita

With the launch of the PlayStation Vita just a couple of months away, Sony has revealed what games will be available for the handheld system on day one.

In total there will be 25 games released on the Vita’s launch date, February 22, 2012. That marks the largest launch lineup for any PlayStation platform. Prices will range from $9.99-$49.99.

Also listed are “launch window titles” that have no specific release dates. It’s expected that they will be available shortly after the system’s launch though.

In addition, the memory card price range of $29.99-$119.99 indicated by GameStop last month has now decreased to $19.99-$99.99.

My first experience playing a video game blew me away. The fact that Super Metroid was that game certainly helped. So I like to think Samus put me on the path to video games. Well, I guess my parents buying the SNES had a little something to do with it. Ever since then my passion for video games has grown. When I found that I could put words together into a coherent sentence, videogame journalism was a natural interest. Now I spend a large majority of my time either playing video games or writing about them, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
