Sony Defense Force, you

sdfSony Defense Force… I don’t know what to say. If you want your opinion to be heard you have to be credible. Trying to make a statement by taking an ignorant shot at Halo 3 isn’t going to get you there, because now everything that you put out has the potential to be skewed.

SDF recently posted a bogus review of Halo 3, calling it "Halo 2.5" after the score they gave it: 2.5/10. But after playing it, there is no way you can say that you didn’t enjoy it… unless of course, you’re a fan boy who won’t allow yourself to because of your odd sense of loyalty.

I’m going to be honest, before I played it I had my own doubts. I refused to pre-order it, and waited for a couple of people to scope it out before I made my way towards it. In fact, I wasn’t even going to get it until a couple of weeks after launch.

That all changed after I got messages upon messages about how I have to get it right this minute… 10 AM on launch day… So being the sucker that I am, I went out and got it after lunch. But even then, I was able to sit on it until about 3 or 4PM. What’s the point of this tirade? I’m one of the few who didn’t bite into the hype.

But after about 5 minutes, I couldn’t put the game down. I’d question your judgement if you gave it less than a 9. So that’s why, when coming across a 2.5, you know it isn’t an honest assessment.

Honestly? I don’t even think they played it, as the screen shot they’re showing has a 360 with a red ring of death on it. So boys, if you ever want your PS3 to get a better rep, start by letting the victor have his spoils, and then start producing games that can compete (not hyped games like Lair, that flopped).

Besides, in this day and age, why cling lifelessly to one system. You work. Go out and expand your horizons: own both, enjoy both.
