For weeks, analysts have been speculating that Sony would not meet their global launch date for the PlayStation 3. Today, these suspicions have been confirmed, as Sony has announced that the release date for the PlayStation 3 has been pushed back until March 2007 in the PAL territories, including Europe, Russia and Australia, among other regions.
Sony Computer Entertainment Chief Ken Kutaragi told reporters that they decided to focus on the Japanese and U.S. markets.
