Ubisoft today announced the fourth title in their submarine simulation franchise, Silent Hunter. Titled Silent Hunter 4: Wolves of the Pacific, it’s set for release in Spring 2007.
Players will be commanding American submarines in the Pacific Theater during World War II. Over 15 single player maps will be offered in the game, with plenty of upgrades and experience to be earned during the process. Also, online gameplay will be featured, including cooperative and an adversarial mode with up to 8 friends via LAN or four on the Internet.
Silent Hunter 4 is being developed by Ubisoft’s Romania studio. Earlier this year, they put out the flight combat game Blazing Angels: Squadrons of WWII.
