For those of you who missed out on your chance to be included in the Shadowrun beta goodness, a slightly less feature-filled version will be coming your way in June (after the game ships, but that’s okay).
They originally planned on releasing the demo so that it wouldn’t be passed over in all the Halo 3 beta excitement, but due to an extension in the beta period, the idea doesn’t exactly pan out (but hey, they tried!).
The demo is promised for release in the US, Canada, Mexico, most of Europe and a few parts of Asia — all localised. There is a chance that the launch could slip pasts the date of the 6th, but it’s unlikely. It’ll be a nice change for those who grow weary of the Halo 3 beta. The demo will be featuring:
Training: Chapters 1, 2, and 3.- Bot and Online Play
- One map/Game Type: Power Station/Raid
- Two races: Human and Elf
- Magic: Tree of Life, Gust, Ressurect, and Teleport.
- Tech: Glider, Enhanced Vision, and Smartlink
- Weapons: SMG, Pistol, Shotgun, Rifle, Katana, and Sniper Rifle.
