This week Nintendo announced that they will be issuing another strap upgrade to the Wiimote controllers.
This time around, they are adding a security clip that locks the strap loop from unloosening. The first upgrade was a thicker strap that, theoretically, would prevent "snapage" of the strap and thus the breaking of all things valuable in the flying controller’s path such as televisions and stereo equipment.
But just how far is this going to go to make the WiiMote 100% secure? Well, according to a secret photo file that GamerNode was able to obtain from an insider source, the next iteration of the security strap will look like this:
