You may not have to wait until April 29 to get your hands on an Xbox 360 Elite after all if a snapshot of a receipt is authentic. Reports have come in that the national superstore retail chain Target has broken the unit’s release date and is already selling the Elite — almost two weeks before the official launch.
The photo appears at an eBay auction and very clearly shows the receipt and the Xbox 360 Elite package behind it. The starting bid for the Elite is $600. Can anyone say, "scalper"? No word has come from Target about this story, but if true, the Elite will be sold out at the stores in no time at all.
