Insider sources have revealed to Game Informer Online that the marketing and sales divisions of Mario and Company maybe packing their bags in a move from their Redmond, Washington headquarters to new offices located in either San Francisco or New York.
According to the leak, employees were informed last Thursday that they had until June 1 to decide on whether they wanted to make the move or not. Nintendo said it would provide severance packages for those who decided not to participate in the relocation.Or in other words; move or lose your job.
For many of the employees in the sales and marketing division, it will be a difficult decision to move from where Nintendo has made its home since 1982. At the moment, Nintendo has not confirmed or denied the report.
