In April, Take-Two announced its support for the Wii and announced that Manhunt 2 would be making the jump to Nintendo’s console. Since then, not a lot has been revealed about other Take-Two Wii games except the rumor that Rockstar Games Presents Table Tennis may be heading to Wii-Land too. Nintendo Wii Fanboy stated that the rumor could go both ways.
They surmise that the game would make a perfect Wii title because of its easy approachable gameplay and how the Wii controller could easily adapt to a table tennis game. On the flip side, the rumor could be squashed because porting over the RAGE engine (which is also being used in GTA IV) will be very hard to do and most importantly, the Wii can’t support a graphics engine of that caliber.
So what do you think of another tennis-like game heading to the Wii? Quite frankly, it can’t hurt, especially since Wii Sports did pretty well.
