Sometimes, a small blunder can turn into something great and free! Case in point – Ubisoft announced the Rainbow Six Vegas Black Edition update (which was pulled this past week) but now, it has been re-released and is now free.
Previously, players purchased the Black Edition update for 800 Microsoft points — so for anyone who bought the update, they will get their points reimbursed (in 8 to 10 weeks, ugh).
The Black Edition update includes 5 maps; 3 brand new maps like Red Lotus and Wartown, an updated version of Streets and an old-school resurrection from Rainbow Six 3 of Presidio.
In addition, Ubisoft announced they’ll be releasing another free update this coming Friday (July 6th) called the Red Edition. Two new gameplay modes will debut (Assassination and Total Conquest) along with several new maps (including Doscala Restaurant, Marshalling Yard and Roof).
