The partnership between developer Strategy First Inc. and publisher Game Factory Interactive over publishing rights for the upcoming Jagged Alliance 3 and Jagged Alliance 3D dissolved today. Even though a new publisher has not been announced yet, Strategy First maintains confidence that it’ll finish up development to deliver two superior products.
During this year’s E3, a pre-beta version of the games were shown to favorable receptions. The game play was described as very similar to Jagged Alliance 2, with an updated 3D combat engine and improved visuals. In July, Game Factory Interactive announced that co-developer MiST Land South shut its doors; there is no word on how this has affected the development of either game.
