Australians have a lot to cheer about as Sony has announced a Playstation 2 price drop in the land down under. Beginning June 1st, the second generation Playstation console will retail for roughly 200 AUD, a fifty dollar price drop from the previous 250 AUD. There were no details announced for a price drop in other regions. Keep your fingers crossed, as we will report anything straight to you if an announcement should emerge.
