In an twist that needs to happen more often, the next installment in the puzzling Professor Layton franchise will be hitting the shelves sooner than expected.
Having previously been slated for September 20th, Professor Layton and the Unwound Future will be available eight days earlier, September 12th, waiting to infuriate us all again with its impossible yet addicting brain teasers. From the official email:

Nintendo of America has announced a new launch date of Sept. 12 for Professor Layton and the Unwound Future, a new hand-held adventure created exclusively for the top-selling Nintendo DS family of portable game systems.
