Earlier this week, it was revealed that Peter Marks has been diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer. Bungie community members may recognize Peter as a longtime member of the Bungie community (both on the inside and outside), but to many gamers Peter’s claim to fame is his level design work in Halo, notably Hang Em High.
Doctors are doing what they can to combat the cancer, so to help keep his spirits up and give him some support, Bungie.org has set up an online letter to Peter where fans of his work can leave their well-wishes and support. Knowing several people who were in Peter’s situation — and having spoken with Peter in the past — I’m sure the immense outpouring of support from the gaming community will go a long way towards helping him battle the disease.
