The latest edition of Nintendo Power magazine has reported that Paper Mario will be arriving on the Virtual Console soon. It certainly isn’t a rumor that’s without its merits, seeing as how Nintendo would be smart to capitalize on the popularity of Super Paper Mario.
For those who are unfamiliar with it, Paper Mario was released towards the end of the Nintendo 64’s lifespan in 2001. But despite the game receiving critical acclaim, the title didn’t do so well in the stores due to the heavy competion coming from the powerhouse PlayStation at that time.
Hopefully with the release on the Virtual Console, it will gain the mainstream popularity it deserves.
The expected price point for this title is 1000 Wii Points. ($10)
