At this year’s Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, NV, gaming peripheral and accessory manufacturer Nyko has unveiled a new solution for Wii gamers who have too many white plastic doodads in their living rooms. The Nyko Wand Plus will save players from needing a bulky WiiMotion Plus unit to snap onto the bottom of their Wiimotes, at least, because the device features built-in Motion Plus technology.
The Wand Plus will cost $40 at retail — the same price as a regular ol’ Wii remote from Nintendo — and will include Trans-Port functionality, which will allow the buttons to be remapped to other Nyko accessories.
Funny how Nintendo charges $40 for a Wii remote and another $25 for Motion Plus, huh?
