A small quip on the NWN2 Vault reveals that Neverwinter Nights 2: Mask of the Betrayer has gone gold and will be in stores by the end of the month for Europe and October 9th for North America.
Among its 25 hours of gameplay in the campaign, the expansion pack will feature three new races (with multiple subclasses within), two new base classes (Favored Soul and Spirit Shaman) and five new prestige classes, new monsters including the Treant and Brass Dragon, enhancements to the camera and a level cap from 20 to 30.
Currently, Neverwinter Nights 2 is on the verge of getting its 1.07 patch — it’s in public beta. The 1.07 patch will introduce several enhancements to the core game and will act as the kick-off point for Mask of the Betrayer. Included within are two new camera modes, UI improvements and plenty of bug fixes. You can gobble that up here.
