It seems like the folks responsible for updating the official Japanese Xbox 360 website accidentally uploaded a few screenshots of Team Ninja’s long awaited sequel to one of the best action games of the last generation (Ninja Gaiden).
While this error on Microsoft’s part was quickly rectified with the removal of the gorgeous images from its page, we can all be thankful to NeoGAF member ‘MightyHedgehog’ for intelligently performing the action of saving them to his computer.
While I know for a fact that everyone will drop their jaw in awe after eyeing these screenshots themselves (heaven above knows I did), I can’t help but outright claim that the game is an aesthetically appealing wonder.
Judging from what I’ve seen, the game will be significantly gorier than Ryu’s previous adventure. Plus, with the addition of a slip-on claw to the super ninja’s already immense arsenal of deadly tools of destruction, how could it not be?
While there’s no doubt in my mind that the game will receive its proper unveiling at this month’s Tokyo Game Show in the form of a trailer, seeing it this early doesn’t make me any less excited than I would’ve been had it been shown two weeks from now.
