For many RPG fans, Final Fantasy XIII is high on the list of "games I must buy." It certainly is on mine. We've seen the screenshots, what may or may not be in the game, and the rumor mill churning out juicy tidbits as the launch for FF XIII approaches.
The latest news on this highly anticipated game, originating from Japanese game magazine Famitsu, is that the demo for Final Fantasy XIII will be a two-hour long experience.
The demo will be included with the release of Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children Complete. The Blu-ray movie will be an extended-cut version of the original film and will also include deleted and unfinished scenes in the release. FFVII: ACC will be available in Japan in March 2009.
It's debatable, even for the hardcore FF fans, whether the lure of a two-hour FF XIII demo with the Advent Children movie disc is really worth the price of admission. If anything, it just might be a hot rental for some.
Famitsu says the demo will be centered on the opening sequences of the game and will be packaged as a separate disc in the FFVIII: ACC case.
At the moment, no word has been confirmed on the availability of the two-hour FFXIII demo for US and international shores.

Two?! What? I lack Anything Blu-Ray capable, and I suspect that this will be the PS3 demo, so I'll be missing out. Still though.
just imagine how long the game will be.
