There are not enough hours in a day to play all of your favorite games so what games have you started but never got to finish? I'll probably have to hand in my gamer card at the front desk because some of the games I started but never finished should probably have been no-brainers. Also to the folks who are shocked and want to exact revenge on those who failed to complete a classic game should keep the floggings at a minimum.
I reckon I'm a little interested in hearing the reasons why some of these games were never finished. I imagine they can range from not enough time, work or even just being a terrible game.
So for example, I love FPS but I never finished Prey (time), S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl (I'm a wuss during the underground parts and I've attempted to replay it multiple times but got burnt out playing the beginning area again...and again) and Clive Barker's Jericho (a terrible game). I also started but never finished Psychonauts or Quake and Quake II; I'll hand in my gamer card now, thanks.
So what games have you started but never got to finish?

I bought HL1 around the time I heard about BM:S so I thought I may as well wait untill it comes out. Hundereds of other games that I have forgotten about.
A lot.
Chrono Trigger....a thousand times
Many, and I can't even remember which.
Crysis. I just couldn't do it. I was way to disappointed. Also Far Cry. Maybe I have it in for vegetation...
Way too many. I mean, the percentage is slightly higher than the games I have completed.
Enchanted Arms (360), Baten Kaitos (GCN), Deep Labyrinth (DS), Etrian Odyssey (DS), Lost in Blue (DS), Shenmue II (XBOX), Yoshi's Island (GBA).
The only reason I stop playing a game is because another game got in the way. I'll pick them back up eventually... Honestly...
I do that a lot. I either lose interest or get sidetracked and don't care/know what to do next. Sadly, one of the most common victims of this for me are the Final Fantasy games. I think of the 7 or 8 FF games that Ive played, I have only beaten about 1 or 2 of them.
STALKER
Resident Evil 4 (I tried playing the horrible PC version, but I just can't do it), Battle for Middle Earth (It's sitting right next to me, and I'm gonna start playing again in a minute), Empire Earth (It's a horrible series), Rainbow Six Vegas (That game was not meant for the PC, and I can't find a control scheme I like, plus I miss the mission planning of the old Rainbow Six games), C&C Tiberium Sun (I hae the decade pack, and for some reason it keeps crashing), and Oblivion (ohh wait...).
Most recent is Mass Effect.
I mean, drags on a bit dosn't it?
PLay RE4 on either a Playstation 2 or a Gamecube, whihc you can get cheap.
For me, Metal Gear Solid 2. I'll beat it eventually. I'd say Crysis and Call of Duty 4, but I'll definitely beat them. I just had two months without computer access, so had to take a hiatus.
There have been others, but usually games I didn't care much for anyway.
None.
I'm committed.
Twilight princess. Lost interest. As well as mario galaxy. That is a true casual game, though. I play it in dribs and drabs and one day will defeat it. FF8, FF9, and FF10. Lame random encounters stopped me cold. When they let you see your enemies in 12, played it and loved it. And of course, Oblivion. Still playing the side quests.
STALKER
Far Cry
Condemned 2
Bioshock
Quake 4
Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter (beat the second one, not the first).
I'm sure there were more, but those are the only ones that I can name off of the top of my head.
Oh shoot. I forgot. Metroid Prime 2. it's soooo vague on finding all of those stupid keys. Ages after finding them, I got stuck on the last boss and about three times now stuff has come up. I haven't beaten it. Shame, because the first one is so damn good. I think the second one is good, but definitely falters a bit when you must find those 12 keys. Good grief...
And how in the world do you lose interest in Twilight Princess??
Doom 3
Ghost Master
Legend of Zelda Windwaker
Super Mairo Sunshine
Crysis (can't get passed the airplane level)
