I hope nobody is terribly offended by video content, because the following clip contains a tidbit of information I think you all are going to like.

At the very end of this G4 interview with Portal's lead designer Kim Swift, she tells us that Valve's lead marketing director Doug Lombardi has indeed announced that Portal 2 is in the works.

It's funny how little enthusiasm surrounded that statement from either end of the discussion, but I'm sure we can make up for that here at GN. Who's excited?

I wish i was as smart as Kim Swift to even of thought of this game, these people are pure geniuses. There isn't anything on the planet like this game, but yet, it is such a simple concept and so relaxing to play. I am hoping for inclusion of some type of online co-op, it would be nice to have teamwork-related puzzles, now this would definitely be fun.

I want multiplayer in the next game! Races! Battles involving the droppage of heavy objects and turrets! And a longer single player campaign! I nearly cried when it all came to an end.

Not me. All of the GN regulars already know this, but Portal was my least favorite entry in the Orange Box.

YAY I knew portal 1 was too short to be the only game based on portals...

And just when will it come out? Before ep3 I hope.

Also I hope we meet gordon freeman or mossman in portal 2.
