Unbeknownst to most people, Eden Games (Test Drive Unlimited) is working on the fifth game, Alone in the Dark, in the long-running survivor horror game series of the same name. Having been over seven years since the fourth game, The New Nightmare, Alone in the Dark will experiment with an episodic format by getting released in 30-40 minute gameplay snippets. After viewing the tech trailer below, you can see the many different gameplay approaches Eden Games is toying with for Alone in the Dark. It's coming out for PC and just about every console in June.

game looks beautiful, lets hope there is a good story to it
id swap the missus for a copy of this and pc that will run it.
that looks bloody brilliant :o
Looks fun, but I hope this doesn't turn combat into a bunch of inventory management, and I'm interested to see how this works when things get a bit more frantic or what you can do if you DON'T have blood packets and sticky tape and fuel containers.
It does seem impressive so far, but unless the game is mostly scripted (which I have no problem with), it'll be interesting to see how often the situation allows for attacks like these, and if they ever progress beyond using items into using the environment (bomb a chandelier, or shoot a power line down into a pond or something).
I've still got my eyes peeled, for sure.
lol
"sticky tape"
I'm not a fan of the horror genre, but I can say that I'd be willing to give this a go.
Man oh man, that seems a bit convoluted to me.... Let's hope they integrate it well
And to think I shoot dead bodies just for the hell of it.
It looks sorta like the Source engine.
