Like the lovable Pinccohio became a real boy, so too will Ender's Game become a real game. (Or something like that.) This morning, Chair Entertainment (Undertow) announced that they've partnered with Orson Scott Card to bring a videogame based on the Battle Room in the Ender's Game series.
The license gives Chair the ability to publish the game on all platforms (including handhelds), but we'll likely see the first offering via downloadable platforms.
"I have been a huge fan of Ender's Game since I was ten years old, so it is a true honor for our team to be entrusted with creating the first video game inspired by this classic story," said Donald Mustard, creative director at Chair. "Our goal is to create an authentic Ender's Game experience that delivers awesome gameplay and can be enjoyed by both longtime fans and gamers new to the series."
Said Orson Scott Card, the legendary author behind the popular sci-fi series, "From the moment I started working with Donald Mustard and his team at Chair, I knew that these were the guys I wanted to do the first Ender's Game video game. It's not enough to slap the Ender's Game name on just any game - it has to be exciting, memorable, and endlessly replayable. Chair shares my understanding of this and I am looking forward to working with them to ensure the game is as authentically Enderish as possible."
This isn't the first time Chair and Card have partnered up. The two first worked together on the Chair property Empire, with Card writing the best-selling novel of the same name. Currently, plans are in motion for a film and game based on Chair's world. In the meantime, if you're a huge Ender's Game fan and want to share your thoughts or throw in your two cents on the future game, Card invites you to do so at his website, www.hatrack.com.

Multiplayer better offer the battle room, and the ship simulator game. 16-24 player tactical games in the battle room would be awesome.
