Were you burned over the Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas Hot Coffee incident? Are you demanding compensation after having your eyes soiled and your dignity violated?
Take-Two Interactive launched a website where players can file an online settlement against the Hot Coffee fiasco/Take-Two and you may receive up to $35.
Of course, you have to meet a few requirements to receive the money; you have to own the first edition disc of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, i.e. a copy of the game manufactured before July 20, 2005. Other requirements needed for the money benefit include proof of a store receipt, a credit card statement or disc/purchase details.
People have until May 16, 2008 to file the claim and receive a compensation; you can do that here. It looks like Take-Two provided this compensation back in November but it was a heck of a legal process; this new procedure seems pretty straight-forward.

what the? didn't the hot coffee mod require you to download a 3rd party mod specifically designed to unlock the hidden content? ie if you viewed it its 100% your own damn fault?
Um, late much? That was in 2005!
You know, I do have a first-edition copy, and all the proof, and no problem with the work involved in filing the claim. But I'm not going to. I don't think a nipple or two mandates an AO rating when you kill hundreds over the course of the game. R*/T2 didn't do anything unreasonable.
Thank God! The mental anguish I suffered at the hands of those MONSTERS at Rockstar will FINALLY be rewarded!
WOOOOT Money =D
Well, I have the pre-patched Xbox version, but there's no receipt, and a friend of mine decided to borrow and not return the game (later claiming to have never borrowed the game), so even if I wanted to file a claim against the awesome likes of Take-Two, I couldn't.
Wow, I can get all of $35 dollars! However, not living in America and not having a receipt I'm afraid to say that I will get nothing. Damn, looks like I'm out of a meal or something.
Of course after everybody downloaded the third-party hot coffee mod and went against their wills to view the content that was hidden in the game, thus soiling our pristine and innocent minds, of course Take-Two should pay for damages. Right? Hello?
