Electronic Arts announced today that the newest iteration of NBA Street is scheduled for release in Spring 2007 for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 consoles.
"Since its unveiling in 2001, NBA Street has always raised the bar with innovative gameplay and fresh visuals," said Wil Mozell, executive producer on the project. "The power of the Next Generation hardware gives us the horsepower to break new ground for consumers, making it the perfect stage for the next iteration of NBA Street. Casual gamers and sports fans can still expect ‘easy to pick-up and difficult to master’ gameplay, with progressive visuals and some of the biggest gameplay moments in action sports."
The fourth game in the best-selling series will expand on the gameplay which made the previous three a hit. According to EA, the newest iteration of NBA Street will “create a hyper-real world that merges legendary courts with the hometown courts of your favorite NBA stars into one seamless city of streetball moments.” The game will focus on your player and his team, as you battle NBA players in their hometowns to earn respect for your own city.
