Following last week’s news of an Xbox 360 holiday price drop from retailers, a post on the Official Microsoft Blog by Yusuf Mehdi, CMO for Microsoft’s Interactive Entertainment Division, has announced a new “Entertainment for All” plan for the console.
While the option to purchase a new Xbox 360 for $99 with a 2-year Xbox LIVE subscription has been available for a while, the new plan adds a few additional options:
- 4 GB Xbox with Kinect for $99
- 250 GB Xbox for $99
- 250 GB Xbox with Kinect for $149
There’s no word yet on when the new deal will be available, but the post confirms that the “Entertainment for All” plan will be available at retailers, including Best Buy, GameStop, Walmart, Toys “R” Us, and the Microsoft Store. With the new deal offering options that include a 250 GB hard drive, there’s another reason that a $99 Xbox is compelling.
